Welcome to SedNet

ImageDear visitor,

Welcome to the website of the Sediment Network SedNet.

SedNet is the European network aimed at incorporating sediment issues and knowledge into European strategies to support the achievement of a good environmental status and to develop new tools for sediment management.

Our focus is on all sediment quality and quantity issues on a river basin scale, ranging from freshwater to estuarine and marine sediments.

SedNet brings together experts from science, administration and industry. It interacts with the various networks in Europe that operate at  the national or international level or that focus on specific fields (such as science, policy making, sediment management, industry, education).

On this website you will find information from and about the SedNet community as well as from other sources. However, please read our disclaimer before you make use of this information.

You will stay informed about any important event or information regarding our upcoming activities by joining SedNet and/or by regularly visiting this website.
