The UK Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs recently released a tender for developing a UK strategy for managing contaminated marine sediments. Detailed information can be found at www.defra.gov.uk/science/funding/competitions.htm, there you will also find the template with guidance for applications. Individuals, contractors or consultancies can tender for one or more of the tasks, however it is expected that more than one company will be undertaking the different tasks.

The closing date for applications is the 12th January 2007.
