3rd SedNet-Elsevier book published

With great pleasure we announce that the 3rd volume in the SedNet-Elsevier book series “Sustainable Management of Sediment Resources” is published. This 3rd volume – edited by Susanne Heise (email: This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it ) – addresses the issue of “Sediment Risk Management and Communication”. It is based on discussions that were held in the SedNet working group on "Risk Management and Communication". It analyses the current situation in Europe with regard to sediment risk management issues, draws conclusions from this analysis and offers recommendations for sustainable risk management from basin to site-specific scale.
